Official: Stoke City defender Huth joins Leicester on loan

Leicester City have signed Robert Huth on loan from Stoke City until the end of the season.

The German defender has made just four appearances in all competitions for the Potters in 2014-15 - with just one of those coming in the Premier League - and links up with the Foxes with Nigel Pearson's side currently bottom of the table...

Huth will be banned for the first match of his Leicester career, however, after being punished by the FA for comments made on social media - meaning he will miss the upcoming clash against Crystal Palace, though he could make his debut against Arsenal.

The former Chelsea centre-back becomes Leicester's third signing of the transfer window, following the acquisitions of Andrej Kramaric and Mark Schwarzer.

The club are currently marooned at the foot of the table, three points behind 17th-placed Burnley.
